Patient Services

While Medac Urgent Care is often a convenient, cost-effective alternative to emergency room care, there are certain medical conditions that should always be treated by a hospital emergency department. Please call 911 or go directly to a hospital emergency department if you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or think you may be having a stroke.

Much more than a clinic for emergency stitches, earaches and worrisome fevers, Medac Urgent Care in Wilmington, NC, provides high quality medical care for people who either do not have a primary care physician, or whose primary care physician might not be available when care or treatment is needed. People who have an illness or injury that is not life-threatening, as well as those who simply need a physical exam or vaccination, can rely on Medac 365 days a year, no appointment needed.

Our three convenient locations in Wilmington are staffed with credentialed clinical providers, led by board-certified physicians who are experienced in emergency and urgent care medicine. And Medac is the only urgent care center in Wilmington, NC, certified by the Urgent Care Association of America.
